Fox-Mar first opened its doors in March of 1974 as a full-time portrait studio. Owners Ira Fox and Mark Maynard are life-long Dade County residents who met working at a national school portrait studio and built Fox-Mar on one commitment: quality first. The Kendall studio opened in 1979 to serve schools south of Flagler Street, and today Fox-Mar is one of the most productive and well-known studios in the Southeast.

When are school pictures taken?
Fox-Mar photographs PK–11 students for both fall and spring portraits. You can pre-pay ahead of picture day or reorder afterward.
