About
Not a crowded marketplace. A curated collection.
Miami Yachting Company doesn't list every boat in Miami. Each vessel in the collection is hand selected based on condition, presentation, guest feedback and operational reliability — and every yacht that makes it in has been visited in person and evaluated by a member of the team, with a focus on vessel design, onboard layout, amenities and intended use.
Rather than operating a single fleet, the company brings together independently owned sport yachts, cruisers, luxury motor yachts and event-style vessels, charterable from six departure points across South Florida. With more than 30 years of combined industry experience behind the curation, every charter is arranged subject to standardized licensing, insurance and documentation requirements.

Questions
Planning your charter
How much does a yacht rental in Miami cost?
Pricing depends on the vessel, date, duration and add-ons. Smaller day boats can start around $700, luxury yachts typically start around $1,250, and select superyachts can start around $3,200+. Final pricing may vary with fuel use, departure location, seasonality and trip details.
Is a captain included, and do I need one?
It depends on the yacht and charter structure. Some charters, including applicable six-pack charters, include a captain. For bareboat charters, crew is not included, but guests may choose from a list of US Coast Guard certified captains made available for their convenience.
How many people can go on a charter?
Capacity depends on the vessel. Smaller boats may accommodate up to 6 guests, mid-size yachts up to 13, and select larger yachts up to 140 passengers — always based on the yacht's legal capacity, operating rules and USCG regulations.
What are the best destinations?
Shorter charters often cruise past Star Island, Palm Island, Hibiscus Island, the Venetian Islands and the Miami River. Longer trips can include Nixon Sandbar, Stiltsville, Haulover Sandbar and Fowey Rocks Lighthouse, when conditions allow.
How far in advance should I book?
During peak months, holidays and major event weekends, the most in-demand yachts often book out weeks or months in advance. For spring, holidays or a premium yacht experience, reserve early; slower periods may have more last-minute availability.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Hazardous conditions — gusts over 30 MPH, wave swells beyond 3 feet on local inland waters, or named storms — may qualify for rescheduling or other accommodations per the charter agreement. Route changes may happen at the captain's discretion for safety. Light rain or overcast alone does not cancel a charter.
