Eligible homeowners can get up to $10,000 in grants to strengthen their home — grants vary by program and eligibility. The program includes a free wind-mitigation inspection, and hardening your home can also help you save on insurance (savings vary by insurer and policy).
How to enter the MSFH program
1. Go to the official program website
Visit MySafeFLHome.com and click the Create Your Account button.
2. Create your account
Sign up in the secure Participant Portal with a valid email and verification code.
3. Complete the prioritization questionnaire
A short questionnaire about your home places you in Group 1-5 for inspection access.
4. Request your free wind-mitigation inspection
If eligible, submit the request directly through your Participant Portal account.
5. Next steps after inspection
Once completed, you'll see next steps in your account to apply for a grant if interested.
