Miami city lights from an LED kayak

1/4

The city looks different from the water at night

After dark, SoFlo's guided night paddle puts you on the downtown Miami River in a kayak rimmed with LED lights — a small glowing flotilla moving under the drawbridges while Brickell's towers light up the water on every side. Paddleboards glow too, turning the river neon green beneath your feet.

It's a guided group session on calm, protected water, and like everything SoFlo runs, it goes all year — Miami's water never dips below 70°F, so a January night paddle is exactly as doable as a July one. Bring a phone for the skyline reflections; the pictures take themselves.
