What makes Gesha so special?

Gesha (also spelled Geisha) is one of the most distinctive and celebrated coffee varieties in the world, known for its floral aromatics, vibrant acidity and layered sweetness. Originally from the Gori Gesha forest in Ethiopia, it is now cultivated in select growing regions and requires skilled hands and ideal conditions to reach its full potential. This year we're proud to share two limited-release Gesha coffees from producers we know and trust: from Silvia Herrera in Chiapas, Mexico, a natural-processed Gesha that's bright, fruit-forward and silky; and from David Muñoz in Santa Barbara, Honduras, a washed Gesha with clarity, structure and a delicate floral finish. Both are currently out of stock, with fresh crops expected in September.
