Amoroso

Working in multi-media, Amoroso's art reflects a lifetime of traveling and painting in more than 30 countries. A founder of the Coconut Grove Arts Festival, he helped cultivate the 1960s Miami art scene and lived and painted in Coconut Grove for more than 55 years. In 2017 a fire from Hurricane Irma took his beloved Grove home; today he continues to work from a new studio in Coral Gables. At 91, his work keeps evolving with a richness of color and a strength in every stroke that only a master can achieve.
