Brekkie, the Aussie way

Brekkie at Little Collins runs until 2pm on weekdays and all day on weekends. The range goes from Too Easy — two eggs any style with toast — to The Smash (avocado and feta mash on thick-cut multigrain with chili flakes, mint and pepitas), buttermilk pancakes with honeycomb and vanilla bean whipped cream, shakshuka baked in tomato harissa, and an Eggs Benny with your choice of house-cured salmon, bacon or mushroom. From 12pm the afternoon menu picks up: the B.L.A.T., Dash's Fried Chicken Sandwich, a slow-braised short rib sandwich and salads. Making it a boozy brunch? There are mimosas, spritzes and a Bloody Mary that can become a Bloody Maria.
