From a Brickell storefront to three Keik Houses

Two Venezuelans, one Miami kitchen
Wilfredo Ulacio and Alejandra Romero both moved from Venezuela to the United States in 2015, and met working in a Miami kitchen producing desserts for other restaurants. In March 2020 — in the middle of the pandemic — they turned that friendship into Keik, opening in Brickell. Wilfredo, whose passion for baking began in childhood, leads the culinary direction, menu development and the brand's signature pink concept as CEO; his work shaping the menu has been featured in Business Insider and Miami New Times. Alejandra leads business strategy, brand marketing and day-to-day operations as CMO — taking Keik from a single storefront to three South Florida locations.
