Founded in 1926, Riviera has always been the pinnacle of golf. Ranked among the top 50 golf courses in the world and the top 25 in the United States, its 18 holes continuously challenge the world's best. The club is currently home to the PGA Tour's Genesis Invitational — and in 2028 it will host the men's and women's golf competitions when the Olympic Games come to Los Angeles.

Members of the Los Angeles Athletic Club set out to build the premier golf course and outdoor facility in Southern California.

The course opens

The clubhouse
The main clubhouse, built in a Spanish revival style, is completed.
