The pinnacle of golf since 1926
Founded in 1926 by members of the Los Angeles Athletic Club, Riviera was imagined as the premier golf course and outdoor facility in Southern California. The course opened to critical acclaim in 1927; the Spanish revival clubhouse followed in 1928. Nearly a century on, the club welcomes the world's greatest golfers each year as home of the Genesis Invitational — and in 2028 it hosts Olympic golf when the Games come to Los Angeles.

Every guest arrives by a member's invitation
By invitation
All guests must be invited by a Riviera member and be on the guest list prior to arrival. Reciprocal club members need an introductory letter on file.
Dress the part
Tucked-in, collared shirts for gentlemen and casual tailored sportswear throughout — no denim of any quality or color, for anyone of any age.
On arrival
Parking is complimentary for members and guests; security staff will direct you to guest parking. Phones go silent in the dining room, bar and grill.
