The bar

A subterranean hideaway on Market Street

Local Edition is more than just a cocktail bar — it is a place to relax with friends after a long day's work, a live music venue and, perhaps most importantly, a connection to the history of San Francisco. Beneath Market Street in the historic Hearst Building, the room takes its cue from the newspaper business of the 50's and 60's: sophisticated décor set against vintage paper presses and clippings from the archives of San Francisco's past.
