Floating along the skyline

Perch is a French-inspired rooftop bistro atop the Pershing Square Building, designed by its founders so guests experience the feeling of floating along the Downtown Los Angeles skyline. The 15th floor holds the restaurant, bar and lounge — antique-inspired furniture, plush lounge couches and detailed woodwork, with outdoor patios wrapped in ornate fireplaces, lush landscaping and a direct view to the stars. One floor up, the 16th floor rooftop lounge adds cozy fire pits and an unparalleled 360-degree view of Downtown L.A.

Executive Chef Gerardo Benitez cooks a playful menu inspired by French culinary classics, built on the freshest seasonal ingredients — plates meant to be shared alongside meals that stand boldly alone. The bar focuses on simple, fresh Parisian-inspired cocktails, a wine program with over 25 wines by the glass, crafted beer and a rare selection of Cognacs, Armagnacs and French Cordials. Evenings open with live jazz-inspired music and end with DJs keeping the room swaying.

Good to know

When is happy hour?

Monday to Thursday 4:00–6:00pm and Friday from 3:00pm, per the house hours. Walk-ins are welcome for happy hour.

When is brunch served?

Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00am–3:30pm on the 15th floor. The 16th floor rooftop lounge and bar opens at noon on weekends.

How do large-party reservations work?

Prix fixe menus are available to all guests and required for parties of 8–14; for 15 or more, inquire with special events. A 20% auto-gratuity applies to parties of 7 or larger, distributed in full to the service team.

What are the rooftop VIP tables?

Prepaid experiences in the rooftop garden: VIP tables for 2 to 8 guests and the Private Table VIP Experience for 2 to 20. Refunds are not available; cancellations within 24 hours convert to a gift card for the full prepaid amount.

Do you offer pick-up or delivery?

Yes — pick-up and delivery run every day from 3:00pm to 10:00pm.

Is there live music?

Live jazz-inspired music starts at 7:00pm, and DJs take over at 9:00pm on weekends.
