Our story

Where New York was made by hand

Tucked into a restored garment factory on West 36th Street, The Ragtrader honors the makers who stitched together the city's story — exposed brick, vintage sewing machines, and a warm, bustling dining room in the heart of Midtown. The menu runs approachable American classics with quiet nods to the Silk Road: thin bubbly-crust pizzas straight from the oven, share-friendly plates, cumin warmth, citrus brightness and slow-braised depth. Executive Chef Ash Fulk builds rustic, elegant dishes on relationships with local farms and purveyors.

It stays social late: a vibrant bar scene, bespoke cocktails, and on Saturdays a DJ and burlesque. Post-work cocktail, lively dinner, private gathering — stylish but unpretentious, handcrafted in every sense.

Downstairs

Bo Peep — Midtown's spirited hideaway

Hidden beneath The Ragtrader, Bo Peep isn't just a cocktail bar — it's a show. Descend the staircase into a throwback hideaway with live music that gets the crowd singing along, bartenders who mix with flair and conversation, velvet banquettes and piano performances that turn into singalongs. The drinks book runs from fizz and tiki to stirred-and-boozy and Japanese-style highballs, with zero-proof cocktails alongside. Inspired by the glamour of the garment district's golden age — intimate yet electric.
