Built in 1923 as Miami's Fire Station Nº 4, this Mediterranean Revival landmark — two-story hipped roof, arcaded porch, stucco walls and whimsical balconies by architect H. Hasting Mundy — is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Since 2007, Dolores But You Can Call Me Lolita has been opening its doors inside it with a menu that runs Spanish, Italian and American: seafood and chicken paella one night, an Argentinian churrasco the next.

Upstairs is the only rooftop dining terrace in Brickell's Financial District, with a panoramic view of the Miami skyline — couples on dates, friends catching up, colleagues unwinding, and cocktails that feel like a celebration.
