1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Echify Inc. ("Echify", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use the Echify mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By using Echify, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us, information collected automatically when you use the Platform, and information from third parties.
- Account Information: name, email address, username, password, profile details, and account type (viewer, creator, or seller/business).
- Contact and Business Details: company name, business contact data, tax or compliance information required to enable payouts and comply with applicable laws.
- Content and Media: photos, videos, text, and other content you create, upload, or share on the Platform. When allowed by your device settings, we access only the specific images or videos you choose to upload or record, and we do not scan your entire photo or video library.
- Payment and Transaction Data: limited payment information and transaction details (such as purchase amounts, currency, and timestamps). Full card data is processed and stored by our payment partners (for example, Stripe, Apple, and Google), not by Echify.
- Usage and Analytics Data: interactions with content, posts viewed, time spent, clicks on links or products, device type, operating system, app version, language, and other diagnostic data used to improve the Platform.
- Location Information: approximate or precise location based on your device settings, IP address, or coordinates you share, used to personalize content, show relevant products or services, and support safety and fraud prevention.
- Log and Device Information: IP address, device identifiers, crash logs, and performance data to help us secure and optimize the Platform.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Platform and your account.
- Enable social features such as posting, following, commenting, messaging, and sharing content.
- Facilitate e-commerce transactions, including listing products or services, processing payments, and paying out eligible earnings to sellers and creators.
- Personalize content, product recommendations, and search results based on your activity and preferences.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with our Terms & Conditions, Content Guidelines, and applicable laws, including child safety requirements.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful or illegal activities.
- Analyze usage trends, measure performance, and improve our products, features, and user experience.
- Communicate with you about updates, security notices, transactional emails, and support responses.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
Where required by law (such as in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom), we process your personal data based on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract with you (providing the Platform).
- Our legitimate interests (for example, securing and improving the Platform, preventing abuse, and measuring engagement).
- Compliance with legal obligations (such as financial reporting or responding to law enforcement).
- Your consent, where required (for example, certain marketing or optional features).
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
- With Other Users: information you choose to make public (such as your profile, posts, and storefront) is visible to other users according to your settings.
- With Service Providers: third-party vendors that help us operate the Platform, such as cloud hosting, analytics, customer support, and payment processing. These providers are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
- With Payment Processors and App Stores: to complete transactions, manage payouts, and process in-app purchases through partners like Stripe, Apple, and Google.
- For Safety and Legal Reasons: when we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected illegal activity, violations of our Terms, or to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or government requests.
- Business Transfers: in connection with any merger, acquisition, or sale of company assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to continued protection consistent with this Policy.
6. Child Safety & Sensitive Content
Echify is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it as soon as possible.
We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We may use automated tools and manual review to detect and address harmful content. When required by law, we report suspected CSAM/CSAE content to relevant authorities and child protection organizations.
To report harmful or illegal content, including content involving minors, please use the in-app "Report Post" option available on each piece of content, or contact our safety team directly at safety@echify.com.
7. Cookies, SDKs & Tracking Technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, mobile SDKs, and similar technologies to recognize your device, remember your preferences, analyze usage, and measure the effectiveness of our features and communications. Where required, we will obtain your consent to the use of certain tracking technologies.
8. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We may retain certain transaction or log data for a longer period when required for tax, accounting, regulatory, or safety reasons.
9. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, update, or delete your data, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
- You can update profile information directly in the app under your account settings.
- You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data using the in-app account deletion option, where available, or by contacting us.
- You can manage certain permissions (such as location, camera, and photo access) through your device settings at any time.

10. International Data Transfers
Echify is based in the United States and may process and store your information in the U.S. and other countries, which may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards to protect your information when it is transferred internationally.
11. Third-Party Links & Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, products, or services, including external stores or payment pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and may provide you with additional notice in the app or by email. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
